Our Story

How willowmanor Limited Started

We created willowmanor Limited because we noticed a gap in the market. Retirees weren't getting the right resources to explore Ireland's greenways at their own pace.

Understanding Your Cycling Needs

Most cycling guides push intensity and speed. We don't. We've built our approach around what actually matters for retirees — comfort, scenery, and the ability to stop whenever you want to take in the view.

It started simple. A few of us were cycling the Great Western Greenway and realized how hard it was to find reliable information about pacing, rest stops, and terrain difficulty. So we decided to change that.

Today, willowmanor Limited focuses entirely on gentle cycling routes across Ireland. We've mapped greenways, tested routes, and gathered feedback from hundreds of cyclists who just want to enjoy the countryside without the pressure.

What We Know Best

willowmanor Limited has spent years researching and documenting Ireland's greenways. Here's what we specialize in.

Great Western Greenway

Ireland's longest greenway spanning 42km. We've documented every section, from Westport to Achill. You'll know exactly what terrain to expect and where the best stopping points are.

Waterford Greenway

Stunning 46km coastal cycling path with water views throughout. We guide you through the route section by section, highlighting where to refuel, rest, and take photos of the scenery.

Royal Canal Cycling Path

Dublin's urban greenway offering peaceful canal-side cycling through the city. We've identified the most relaxing sections and connected routes that work best for retirement-aged cyclists.

Burren Countryside Routes

Weekend cycling through County Clare's dramatic limestone landscape. Our curated routes avoid heavy traffic and showcase the most beautiful sections of the Burren region.

Our Philosophy

Why We Do This

willowmanor Limited is built on core beliefs about cycling, aging, and enjoying life. These principles guide every resource we create.

The Greenways We Focus On

  • Great Western Greenway — 42km of pure cycling joy
  • Waterford Greenway — Coastal beauty from Dungarvan to Waterford
  • Royal Canal Path — Urban cycling through Dublin's heart
  • Burren Weekend Routes — Limestone landscapes and hidden gems
  • Easy terrain — No mountain biking required

Cycling Should Feel Good

Not every ride needs to be a fitness challenge. We believe cycling in retirement is about enjoying the moment, breathing fresh air, and discovering new places at a pace that feels right for you.

Ireland's Greenways Are Underrated

Thousands of kilometers of dedicated cycling paths crisscross Ireland. Yet many people don't know they exist or where to start. We're here to change that, one route at a time.

Community Matters

The best cycling experiences come from people who understand your needs. willowmanor Limited brings together retirees, experienced cyclists, and local knowledge to build something real.

Sustainability Is Built In

Cycling greenways are low-impact ways to explore Ireland. We're passionate about promoting routes that protect the environment while connecting people to nature.

Ready to Explore?

willowmanor Limited has put together detailed guides for each major greenway. Whether you're planning your first ride or you've cycled for decades, we've got the information you need to make the most of your time on the path.
